A long-form editorial site built for reading first — and indexed cleanly for SEO.
The work
Northwind needed a publishing home that respected its photo essays and 6,000-word features. We built a custom React front-end with a typography-first layout, server-rendered for instant first paint and clean crawler access.
Editors compose in a structured Sanity workspace; the site renders responsive image sets, footnotes, and embedded data visualisations without a single plugin. Average Lighthouse performance: 99.
